Iran: Approximately 100 Civilian Aircraft Damaged or Destroyed

Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzaneh Sadegh stated that approximately 100 civilian aircraft were damaged or destroyed during the first 40-day phase of the conflict with the United States and Israel, between February 28 and April 8.
Sadegh said that eight aircraft that were actively in operation were completely destroyed, while most of the other aircraft had previously been taken out of service and were being used as sources of engines and spare parts.

The damage occurred at airports in Tehran, as well as Bushehr, Mashhad, Bandar Abbas and other locations.
Aircraft previously confirmed by Iranian authorities include an Airbus A319 operated by Iran Air, two Fokker 50s operated by Karun Airlines, and an Airbus A340 and Boeing 777 operated by Mahan Air.

During Iran’s counterattacks, debris from missiles intercepted by air defense systems reportedly destroyed a private jet and damaged two other aircraft at the airport in Tel Aviv. An Emirates Airbus A380 and a Saudia Airbus A321 were also reportedly damaged at Dubai International Airport, while Azerbaijan stated that an attack was carried out on Nakhchivan Airport.

As Iranian authorities have not released the full list of affected aircraft and airlines, the exact scale of the losses has yet to be independently verified.
